Change this one thing for a better 2025
If you’ve been taking a break over the festive season, I bet you’ve not missed those work meetings.
Not. one. Iota.
So how about making a resolution from now on that you’re going to change the way you do meetings forever.
Set your intention. ‘My meetings will be focused, purposeful, time-bound and energising’.
Decide how many hours you want to save each week and make it happen.
Once you make that firm decision from a place of confidence and conviction, you’ll find it a breeze.
Everything else you need to know, I cover in my book Leader Unlocked: How to grow your confidence, influence and impact for leadership success.
When you’re confident and focused in meetings, you’ll have more influence and impact.
- Things will happen more quickly.
- You’ll know how to stop people going round the houses.
- People know why they’re there and what your expectations are.
- They will be outcome and decision focused.
- You’ll stop silently cringing as the meeting overruns yet again and you’ve got somewhere else to be. (But you’re ‘too polite’ to disappear.)
- You’ll know how to address the elephant(s) in the room.
Meetings are a large part of leadership life so it makes sense to make every single one of them count for something.
Because then you’ll have way more time to work on becoming the leader you deserve to be.
And guess what? My book will help you to do that, too.
